I am a cancer surgeon and researcher who loves all things feline and feminist. I also like to paint in watercolor and acrylic, take photographs of animals, people, and scenery, and occasionally cartoon the more crazy and whimsical aspects of my day job and life. I also write about a variety of things that come to mind, ranging from the sublime (the incredible stories of my patients, de-identified and with permission of course), to the ridiculous (America’s health care non-system, and the rise of the health care bureaucrat/clipboard carrying elite.)
